Azhagappan (Mammootty) is a self-made man who has risen from rags to riches. When he was an 8th standard student, he started his career as a waiter in a hotel and by sheer dint of hard work and sincerity, grew to own the biggest hotel in the city. Swapna (Madhubala), Priya (Bhanupriya) and Kanmani (Geetha), who belong to different walks of life, enter his life and fall in love with him. The facts that he is in his forties and is a widower with four children do not deter them. Who Azhagappan falls in love with, how he deals with her egoistic nature and the challenges he faces form the rest of the story.
